Birikos hotel is a family hotel.It is very well situated, near the beach and near the shop.It is very quiet.Nikos and Maria are very very nice.

The stay here was relaxing, enjoyed the hotel, it was tidy with great and fantastic location close enough to supermarket next door, many nice restaurants and a laundry. The service was good and the pool was well-maintained.

The hotel was stylish and absolutely amazing. the location was nice, with a short walk to amenities like a laundry, supermarket, car hire store, and a beautiful beach in Naxos. - the single room we stayed in was gorgeous, extremely spacious, and had a comfortable double bed.

The room was impeccably clean and airy, I enjoyed the bed and beautiful bathroom.

Location in Agios Prokopios was excellent - 150m to beach, 25m to mini market and regular bus service into Naxos Hora (main town) or to other less developed beaches a few km down the coast. Agios Prokopios is small but has plenty of tavernas along the beach front, didn't have any bad experiences at any of them (taverna o Fotis at the southern end was basic and great!). We were travelling with two boys, aged 12 and 14 years, who loved the pool. Maria very welcoming. All in all, I'd recommend Birikos.

The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Maria and family do a wonderful job! The rooms were very clean with all the basic amenities. The location is excellent, just a short walk to the beach, bars and restaurants and the bus stop just outside takes you into the main town for only 3.20 euros - very convenient. The pool was lovely and there are plenty of sunbeds available. We had a lovely, relaxing break.

My only negative is that the bathrooms in the studios could do with some updating (the tiling is a bit 70s) but it was very clean and there was no shortage of hot water.

The breakfast had lots of tasty options to choose from 🍳. the deluxe apartment boasted a fantastic view and even had gates for added security. the location was convenient, being just a 10-minute drive away from Naxos Island National Airport. Overall, everything here was pleasant.

We had a fabulous holiday at the Birikos (28 July-5 Aug 2011). After much trawling of the internet, I know we chose the right place. Firstly, owner Maria and her family were lovely. Without being intrusive, they were always there with a friendly smile and responded to any requests immediately. The location is perfect, set back from the road (not that it's at all noisy) and just a minute's walk to the shop where you can buy everything you need. A couple more minute's walk takes you to the beautiful Prokopios beach where there's a number of restaurants and bars - not too many, just enough to give you a choice each night. The bus into Naxos Town stops right outside the Birikos, taking about 15 minutes, and as the last bus back isn't until 2am you can easily go there for a bigger night out. The two best things about the Birikos are the swimming pool and the private balconies. The pool is big enough to swim in without feeling cramped (other hotels in Naxos of the same price range seemed to have rather small pools) and it was never over crowded. Most of the other people there were French or German and whilst they were all having fun, there was no overly boisterous behaviour (ie no Brits drinking pints!). We really felt that we were having that special holiday experience round this pool that only Greece can deliver (in our opinion). Our balcony was absolutely perfect, completely stand-alone with no-one either side. You'll see from the pictures that all the rooms are designed like this with their own steps and areas - this was a major attraction for us! Lemon trees, bougainvillea and trees full of singing birds surround the rooms - heavenly. The rooms themselves are fine, not luxury, but all you need and are well cleaned every other day. Naxos is a fabulous place for a holiday, there's nothing not to like. We arrived by ferry from Piraeus, which is another great experience, and went on a day trip to Santorini, also not to be missed.

We were enjoying our first holiday together since we met and everything was like the site tells about. Nice pool for an ideal swim after a long a hot beach day. The family who runs the hotel is very kind, always up to your requests. They serve a complete greek style continental breakfast for an extra we loved. We would like to return with a little higher budget and try the newer studios that look great. Bus stop to village and port at the entrance. A supermarket and all- kind of vehicle rent shop 100m far. We made 300m to reach Agios Prokopios beach. Loved it!

We only consider the possibility of trying the newer part of the property as it looks recently built. Everything was excellent and the location cannot be better.

The room was modern and had everything we needed, with a nice view of the sea from the window.
